We were visited by various road trains throughout the night (pic) so sleep wasn't overly restful (but we should have known better than to park in a truck parking bay!).
Continued 2hours to Cloncurry (nicknamed 'The Curry') where we refueled and inflated the tyres to their proper psi. Drove another 1.5 hours to Mt Isa and arrived exhausted and blurry eyed.
A Mcdonalds latte and Subway was our saviour and got us back to normal before we drove through town (nice working town, but smaller than initially imagined) heading to our pit stop for the night.
Lovely rest area out of Mt Isa with toilets, campfires and lots of shade. It quickly filled up (about 30 campers spread out). Enjoyed the rest of the afternoon reading.
Highlight today: peaceful, bush rest-area.
