Left Agnes Waters and drove to the port town of Gladstone (approximately 90kms away).
Gorgeous, clean, manicured town surrounded by lots of Industry (Port, Aluminium Smelter, Power Station and Refinery). Which gives Gladstone a big wow factor!
We have booked to be apart of the Industry tours during the week to learn more about the operations. It's a great way to sell investors on the area!
The afternoon was spent food shopping, then we joined the Caravan Parade (heaps of caravanners camped in the rest stop) in Banarga next to the Boyne River.
Mel's second day driving 'the big rig' (she did really well) and has now graduated to reversing practice!
Highlight today: Gladstone Port-gorgeous!
