Hello!!! Sorry its been a while since I last updated this blog but had to think of some things to write about.

Finally finished my last two weeks on the due diligence work of the hospital merger and am going on audit next week for 2 weeks at you guessed it another hospital. I am going to be a health expert by the time I get home.

Enough of the boring stuff, I have had a great couple of weekends in terms of socialising and drinking and also sightseeing.

In terms of sightseeing, I went to the Shrine of Rememberance and the Royal Botanic Gardens last weekend and this weekend I have finally made it to the St Kilda beach and explored the St Kilda area. I will be back for the neighbours night tour!!!! which incidently Kim and Sarah at work have promised that they are coming with me.....

Last friday I experienced the first social drinks night with work. It was great and drunken!!! Basically at 5pm we went to the training room on the first floor. Laid out on the tables was pizza, crisps and lots of different beverages alcoholic and non.

Over a few glasses of vino, I caught up with my fellow audit colleagues who I had not seen for a while and also with the people I have made friends with in the finance and business recovery departments. Agaliyah invited me to her 21st bday party in September so another social event to go too.... Cocktail party!!! Oh god what am I gonna wear????

At about 7pm the audit team moved onto the CQ bar for some more alcoholic beverages. I dragged Jenny from finance too. I love this bar, great music and also you dont feel out of place wearing suits as everyone else is too.

Kim my fellow english colleague started the night off in good fashion when she ordered us tequillas (never had tequilla since that one new year - Kim and Ange you know what I am talking about) and after that it just went down hill (just like that new year).

Mid week I went to a wine tasting night which Dinesh's beautiful girlfriend Senaya, had arranged at Michael Page. Kim, Mike, Dinesh and I went along after work for a few glasses and to catch up on news.

Then this friday (27th) it was Kelly's leaving do. She is off to PWC. I started off the night by experiencing a new bar called the Apartment in Little Bourke Street. Inside it is just like its name, because basically it could be someone apartment. It has a really chilled out atmosphere compared to the CQ bar with sofas and quieter music.

At about 10pm it was just me, Dinesh, Senaya, Mark, Pritesh, Peter and Ben left so we went onto the CQ bar for some '"dancing'""as Mark calls it. At about midnight Dinesh, Senaya and I made an escape and went for some food. We drove to a Chinese restaurant. This was quite a cool experience for me as it was really busy at this time. I am normally used to burger van after a night out.

For the rest of the weekend I am planning to meet up with Rochelle for coffee and shopping tomorrow. I have hardly spoken to her since I have arrived as we have been in the office at different times so it will be good to catch up and compare experiences.
