Way hay its the weekend!!!! 3 weeks of work completed and only 13 to go!!!!

I got a bit of goss from my work party which I did not mention in the last blog entry. after I had left (cause I could not stand up anymore), there was a fight between blokes from different departments. Work is not like at home where everyone gets on with everyone else in the firm and everyone knows each other. I think this is partly due to the fact that each department is on a different level. This fight was between this guy in business recovery, David (who dated one of the girls in audit and did not like the fact he was dumped). He for some reason started on some audit guys. I think it was a case of mistaken identity. I think he was after his ex's new boyfriend (who was also there but not the guy who was hit) Apparently there was quite a lot of damage done inside the venue. Everyone got chucked out as a result and on monday, David was sacked!!!! Dont you just love gossip!!!!

I have spent the last two weeks with my english colleague Michael at a hospital in Melbourne completing some financial due diligence work. Basically one hospital is merging with another. This is work I have never done before so it has been interesting and challenging. Next week I am off to the other hospital to carry out the second half of this due diligence.

I have not done much in the evenings except hitting fitness first.

Michael and another colleague and their girlfriends are taking me out for a chinky this weekend which is really nice of them - helping me to settle in still and see some other sights in Melbourne. Apart from that I plan to have a walk around the city and take some photos of the sights and get myself booked on a neighbours tour!!! The real reason I came to Melbourne he he
