Gday mates!!!

Made it to Melbourne safely after a 19 hour flight from San Francisco via Auckland. The flight was good, especially as I had no one sitting next to me which meant I could actually sleep part of the way. I was impressed with Air New Zealand mainly as they has the play/pause function on the films. I saw dream girls, wild hogs, and a Mandy Moore chick flick.

One of the HLB Mann Judd audit managers, Peter Gallagher, met me at the airport which was really nice. He drove me around Melbourne and showed me where my north melbourne apartment is, my hotel and actually parked at work and showed me around the office and even showed me my desk.

On dropping me at my hotel he gave me a goodie bag of food items and champagne!!!!

I was a bit early for check in so I had a wander into town (about a 20 min walk from West Melbourne where my hotel is situated) and looked round the shops. I love all the surfy shops like rip curl and jetty surf. It is going to take alot for me not to spend my travelling money in these stores.

In terms of the weather is is winter at the moment so about 10c at the moment.

After check in I had a long snooze for about 14 hours!!!
