Hi Everyone,

Time in Oz is coming to an end unfortunately and it'll be on Wednesday (my 22nd birthday...yep thats right I refuse to turn 23) that we head to the airport with many a tear. Since my last blog, us four boys have been working which is why there hasnt been any update for a while. Its not even that interesting! Me, Nick and Milsy are working for the labouring company while Millers landed himself a coshty little job in a cafe. The early starts have been sooo painful. We've been regularly waking up to the sound of our alarms at 5.45am! Thats not cricket. But yesterday was my last day so I can say now that I've fully retired from labouring for the rest of my life!! Get in. At least thats one thing I've learnt that I'm not destined to be a labourer.

Apart from having to work the last few weeks, we've been obviously taking full advantage of the spare weekends by sampling the awesome nightlife Sydney has to offer all year round. Again I know that for the past few weekends we've been ending up by Darling Harbour, where theres many good bars and clubs but other than that!!? This is all because we start the festivities off with a nice 5 litre bag of goon. I'm definately going to miss this stuff, although I dont think my insides will! For a backpacker you cant really beat it. For 5 litres your paying between four of us $3-4 each. Thankyou very much I'd love another glass!! We just have to remember not to read the box where it says whats actually in it. Fish bones, Egg and Milk...beautiful! Todays Saturday so we're all planning a big one tonight, its definately going to be a touch emotional. I think the cameras even going to make a appearance! And although I'm definately a bit upset that we'll be leaving on Wednesday, my birthday remember :-) its probably the right time of year seeing as though yesterday was officially the first day of Winter over here! The tan from the East Coast has gone so I need Thailand to save me because I cant be getting back to England looking like the Snowman. Its been averaging around 20 degrees and that is in my book freezing! I've been so cold at night when Im all tucked up.

So the plan is to leave Oz on Wednesday (after my last BIRTHDAY night out where I'll be 22 again on the Tuesday where we're going out in fancy dress) and head to Singapore for all of two days then on to Bangkok (where we still need to find somewhere to stay) for five days. I want to be living like a king in Thailand and seeing as though Me Nick and James have worked something like 40 hours in the last four days I think it'll be the best of everything for that time! Cant wait now.

I get back around 6.30am on the Wednesday 13th so just letting you know Mum I'll need picking up :-). Looking forward to seeing everyone and having a great weekend and Summer and if anyone else wants anything picking up from Thailand let me know.
