I ended up falling asleep last night early. I didn't make it, but I am glad I got a good night's rest. I woke up for the first time by myself at 7 this morning and I finished up packing and tried to organize everything to fit in my suitcase. We are on the plane right now. We have been in the air for about 7 ½ hours and we have about 3 more to go. It has gone by fast. I updated my blog, watched a movie, slept a little, visited with my awesome teammate, Tamara, and had dinner. We left the hotel around 1pm and our plane took off about 4pm. We should be getting in Seattle around 1pm and then we have a seven hour layover. One of my teammates knows of a bus that will take us on a tour of downtown Seattle during our layover. I'm excited!
Three of the T.A.s and Grace came to see us off. It was a hard goodbye. They all are so precious and mean so much to all of us. We have invested so much into their lives and vice versa, and I am hoping we can all stay in touch! Words can't describe what a blessing this trip has been! The Lord had been so good and so faithful! Our trip was far greater than I could ever have imagined! God has been so good! How he provided so many opportunities for us to share with others, how He unified our team, gave us strength even when we had not gotten enough rest, revealed Himself to us, and taught us all so much through prayer and His Word was just indescribable! I hope and pray that as I come back home I can continue to live out my life and seek the Lord the way that I have for the last six weeks. I want to be involved in sharing His precious word and love and never forget all the things He has taught us and reminded us on our special trip! What an amazing and unforgettable journey!
"I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace."
Acts 20:24
