Today we had our last day of Easter celebration.I read the Chronicles of Narnia popup book and the story of Easter and we related Aslan to God and the sacrifice that was made.Again arisen many questions from the kids, which was neat.I hope and pray that they continue to think and ask questions. It is so exciting to see their interest in God and hear about what His Son has done for us!Our kids had a Easter egg hunt t in the class and as they were leaving they said "Happy Easter!"They are so precious! Our kids had a Easter egg hunt in the class and as they were leaving for the day they said "Happy Easter!"They are so precious!
Tonight we went to our last fellowship at Clement's home.I am going to miss everyone there!Therewas this older woman who had met part of our team earlier in the week and when she found out we would be at the fellowship she rode her motorized bike for an hour just to tell us Jesus loves us ("Jesu I Ni").She was 4'9 and needed a cane to walk, but she traveled one hour just to tell us Jesus loves us.She was the sweetest lady and just smiled and waved at us.The man who spoke was a Chinese American. He spoke about the importance of prayer and how to pray.It was very applicable to me because over the last couple of weeks God has been teaching me a lot about prayer, how to pray to Him with purpose. We were able to stay and talk with a lot of the people one more time and we said our goodbyes/see you laters.
We are singing in the wedding tomorrow. The wedding and reception will be over by 2 and then we are going to Silk Street and Karaoke; and Sunday we are going to the Zoo and the Hutong Village. It will be a busy, but wonderful weekend!
"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom and as with gratitude in your hearts to God.And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."
Colossians 3:15-17
