I really cant believe that it has almost been two months that I've been here!!! This past month has really really flown by incredibly fast! I'm liking it here more and more everyday. And I think having a job and at least a little bit of a purpose has helped a lot. I'm really enjoying working at FIELDS, at times it is a little bit difficult, but over all its been a pretty positive experience so far. I really do feel like I am learning a lot so I'm really happy that I went for this job. Also I didn't realize how much marketing I would have to be doing and I know that that will definitely be really good experience! I'm slowly making friends too which is nice. Met a few more people through Kevin and then I'm getting to be friends with a few people at work too. And I met this one guy who actually works for one of the companies of beer that FIELDS carries. He came into the office to talk to someone and then emailed me because he said I looked really familiar and thought he knew me. But he's from Boston so I dont think we actually know each other from anywhere. Which is kind of funny because apparently I look familiar to a lot of people. At this BBQ i had to work a waiter at the restaurant it was at came up to me and asked me if I came in a lot because i looked really familiar. hahaha but I had never been there before.

Anyways, tomorrow is my last day in a 7 day work week! SUCH a long week. We are going to the outskirts of Shanghai to some farm where a bunch of Taiwanese people get together like once a month to have a BBQ and hang out or something... Not too excited haha but then I get a whole week off! Im planning on going to a couple museums in Shanghai and doing some more touristy things that I havnt done yet. Then Hangzhou on friday for a night or two. But planning on getting a lot of sleep haha. My sleep schedule is so weird and adult like! I've also started getting up at 6am so I can do some yoga (I just watch videos on youtube for now) and shower before I go to work. But its actually really nice! I do feel much more relaxed and way less lazy. Gloria, the spanish girl i work with, told me that she gets up at 8am and leaves her house by 8:30 everyday. I have to leave my house at 8 to get to work on time!!! I definitely need to start looking for a place to live closer to work. At work the owner of FIELDS for some reason decided have me find all of the pictures for all of this new meat that we are starting to carry. We had a professional photographer come in and take pictures of all the meat but I guess he didnt do a good enough job and a lot of the meat looked really scary. Hahaha so this entire week Ive probably spent like 5 hours looking for pictures of like 30 different cuts of beef and lamb. Finally today I finished! WOOO HOOO most of you who know me well know that Im not a real big fan of steak... or pork... or really any meats. So this was like disgusting torture to just have to look at page after page of meat photos. barf barf barf. Hopefully they were all good enough and I wont have to find new ones... Ill try to take lots of pictures of anything exciting I do this break and keep posting.
