The Ganes Do The UK
Our fine form continued today, ominously set up by the fact that I made Chris leave the house 6 tackles in in the State of Origin match.
Today was a comedy of errors:
- Couldn't get onto the bus (turns out a max of 2 prams are allowed at any one time, unless you want to fold it up - not with a baby, nappy bag and esky all attached - say goodbye to £1.35)
- No lifts at either overground station, had to carry the pram and all of its 20kg in accessories up/down stairs (really needed to build up the left arm muscles before such strenuous activity!)
- Approached not once, but twice, for tattoos or piercings at camden markets (though we did manage to buy a new london bag for me and wallet for Chris)
- Ironic that although we got engaged at Hampstead Heath 5 years ago, this was also the location of our almost divorce (freakin huge park and we got completely lost, not to mention the fact that our awesome pram is not so awesome when off-road)
- Lost again getting from Highgate Cemetery to North London Cricket Club (phone died so lost GPS and maps)
- Mitch threw a barney at the club and his food (literally, went everywhere)
Yet despite all of this, the sun was shining and we had a lovely day as a 3, Mitch got his first walk out onto the pitch at NLCC and we finally got to have an awesome meal from Testes (the turkish place up the road in Stokey - though they were forced to come to us via takeaway, once again Mitch let the party down by needing to sleep...)
