Hannah and Liv's Travel Update
We spent this morning doing last minute jobs like sending another massive parcel home! Must curb the shopping habit!! At 4.30pm we had our last wander around the streets of Delhi before jumping in our taxi to the airport, where we stocked up on some very cheap vodka (only $10 for a massive bottle of vanilla Smirnoff!) before boarding around 8.30pm. Our last meal in the airport was a chicken tikka masala which was a lovely end to our experience of India. We nearly didn't make it through customs as immigration forgot to stamp our tickets which was a little embarrassing particularly as it was the last straw with India for Liv who stormed off when they wouldn't let us through security!
Although our flight was throughout the night, due to the amazing entertainment system on the back of our seats we managed to stay up all night! We arrived at Singapore airport at about 5.30am, the most amazing place! Gorgeous orchid gardens separated shopping and dining areas, where any designer item could be bought. We had a couple of hours to spend on the free internet or we could have had showers, naps, massages or watched a film in the cinema. We loved exploring the incredible sweet shops and decided that when we return in a months time we'll keep some Singaporean dollars spare!
