Yesterday we were trained in first aid and CPR under the American Red Cross. It was fun practicing how to dress wounds, put on slings and how to perform CPR. So good news...I'll be able to save your life if needed. We had last night off - it was needed after the long week!! We sat around playing cards against humanity. For anyone that hasn't played it, it's hilarious. Each player has seven cards each with a usually inappropriate word and you have to pick the funniest or most fitting word for the sentence/question or scenario. (Warning: this is a game not for those easily offended) We also had the whole camp to ourselves so went joy riding on mobility scooters down the corridors of camp at midnight. Very fun.
Today was our day off so we just relaxed, sunbathed, went swimming in the pool and started to watch orange is the new black. So sad I can't binge watch. It's like torture.
Now I'm finishing the night with a Chinese (rubbish in comparison to home and no crispy chilli beef - heartbreaking), listening to Ben play the guitar and sing (he's got an amazing voice) and talking with everyone whilst I think we are all secretly petrified for tomorrow for the first day of camp.
