Sunday : Rain
We were still up when the rain started early this morning and it didn't stop all day. So we kept it fairly local today. I got up out of bed around 8:30 and roamed the streets looking to buy some croissants, but all the patisseries were closed.
There was a farmers Markets setup right out the front of our place under the metro line, so I had a walk through and found some, but they were way too pricy. €1.20 each! It has been pretty hard to find a decently priced croissant in Paris, they are much cheaper in London for some reason. I ended up finding a shop that had them for a good price (85¢) under the tower. Ha! Of all the places to find cheap food.
I took the yummy pastries back to kim for breakfast and then we went out for coffees. After the amazing cappuccinos we walked around the local streets. Only a few restaurants and cafes were open today, no shops at all were opened. By now the patisseries had opened up though.
We Walked up to the tower and along the way had a look at the restaurants that were opened menus for a good steak. Kim was craving one badly! We found a nice restaurant and we both had a great steak and a carafe of red.
After the late lunch we went to Maccas to use the wifi and organise the next next part of our trip and to have some Mc flurries!
