Our last day on Hinchinbrook Island was slow paced given that we weren't due to be picked up by ferry until 5pm, and only two hours of hiking remained until we reached George's Point, our final destination. Dougie and I awoke from night two feeling much revived - we piled a bunch of leaves under our tent to act as cushioning between us and the ground. Our day began with the sighting of a python wrapped around a tree which was fairly impressive. However I was even more impressed when we sighted a legless lizard later in the day.
