When I woke thismorning I had not anticipated that the day's hike would be even more picturesque than the previous day. It was the most enjoyable of our days on the island.
Over 6 hours we hiked up and down through such a diverse array of vegetation types that we were totally captivated and oblivious to the energy being required at each climb.
Our water supply was low however was able to be replenished upon arrival at the various freshwater creeks we came across along the way - this did feel a little 'hippy-ish'.
We saw the first people we had seen in 1.5 days today which was exciting. I was starting to wonder whether we may have had the whole island to ourselves. We came across 9 people in total during our time on the island.
We sighted our second snake today.... I was pleased to have not stepped on this one as I had the first!
Out day's hiking ended at Zoe Falls where we were able to enjoy a lovely swim with the many Jungle Perch.
