So I used all of that oatmeal. Who would have thought that I would actually finish it! I made my mother's classic peppers and eggs for dinner. A little taste of home for the holiday. I did celebrate thanksgiving with two other American students complete with chocolate lava cake for dessert. Not traditional but I don't think of myself as traditional anyways.
Working away on these papers is finally getting me into the school mood (that is so wrong in so many ways). Speaking of, my classes for next semester are awesome and I can't wait to start the internship. I'm way too excited for the academic part of my life. So many things to look forward to and only 16 more days to wait.
I'm excited about spending the holiday with my family. This year is going to be special. It was the first time my mom had thanksgiving without both my brother and I. Christmas will be a big time of reuniting and it truly will feel like a holiday.
Back to Leicester... Hannah and I will be traveling to Bath, Salisbury, and Stonehenge this weekend. It's an expensive tour BUT we hit three places in one day with guides to everything. I'm really excited and I feel like, for my last time traveling in England, it's a good way to go off with a bang.
We're going back to Ireland next week for tours of Galway and Dublin then I need to start packing to come home! Parts of this trip seemed so long and others are just flying by. I am ready to come home but I am still enjoying my time.
Live it up because you never know when you won't be able to.
