Another day...another dollar! Lee is now working at another office, this time in North Sydney which is over the Harbour Bridge. Its nice walking to work in the sun and with all the superb views as you walk over the coathanger. There is one particualr thing that makes him smile every morning, which is a plaque that dedicates the constructors of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which is no other than...Dorman Long, Middlesbrough, England!!
Yesterday was just a normal day at work for Lee...right outside his office window was Home and Away filiming a scene. They where there for about an hour and it was quite an experience to watch them film. Lynz is more of a Neighbours fan than Home and Away and Lee doesn't really like any of them but does know classic characters like Sally, Donald Fisher and Alf Stewart etc...so it was good that Alf was there. As you would expect Lee had his camera at work with him (never misses trick!) and took a few snaps from inside the office and you can see how close they where to his desk. Infact they where that close you could here them through the glass. But Lee wanted more and went outside and got a picture with the big man himself! He was very nice guy to talk to and when he asked where Lee was from Alf replied good on yer mate you have Mark Viduka playing for your team! What a legend! So now Home and Away have another viewer, well at least until that scene has been played!
Lynz is enjoying her job at the Marriot, shes working hard but its worth it on payday. Shes already got a list of things to buy with her wages! She had lunch with her general manager the other day, it was really good, an all you can eat seafood buffet so she was happy. The Marriot are holding a family fun day this saturday with free food and booze so we are going to take full advantage of that.
Last night we met up with Guilherme and Laura and went for a meal at a restaurant round Circular Quay. It was so nice to eat outside on a nice cool evening with the amazing view of the Harbour Bridge all lit up. Its the first time we have really been out since being in Sydney and we'll definately do it more often now we are settled and getting a regular wage coming in.
