Soo... Harry Potter was to difficult. hahaha! Went back to the library on friday and borrowed Pippi Longstockings instead. A small step down but hopefully I can get through one page in less than one hour. :)
Friday there was the strike again for the subway, train etc so I had to stay at home. Used the day to rehears for the test on tuesday, going through the new grammar.
Saturday basically rained away and the river Lambro that goes through Monza almost flooded. We stayed at home all day fixing stuff on the computers, cooking lasagna and watching a movie. On sunday morning the rain has stopped so we went out for a walk in the center. Probably most people had tayed inside on saturday because we were not the only ones walking around the center sunday morning. After lunch we met up with Pietros friends and drove to a place about 40 min from here called Consonno. Consonno used to be a small town with a few hundred inhabitants. In 1962 the city was completely demolished (except for the church) to make place for a huge shopping center/amusment park/casino.... It was pretty succesul before around 15-20 years later due to a landslide the small road connecting Consonno to the main road was blocked. The area was forgotten and the business went bancrupted. Today the road is fixed but all that is left of the city are ruins. THe italians call it the "ghost town".
During the weekend some of the underground subway stops in Milano was flooded so today I saw many irritated people trying to get to point A to point B. I was lucky since the stations I go to and from wasn't affected. But of course this kind of thing affects the whole system.
