Sunday brought pretty cold weather and some rain. In the afternoon we went out for some fresh air and for a walk in the city center. We soon realised we were not the only people with this idea. Monza felt lively but at the same time cozy because of the cold and the christmas lights that some shops already had put up. On our way to the main square we were also offered hot tea outside a delicacy/chocolate/coffee... shop. After walking aorund for a while, Pietro must have read my mind because he suggested we would go to a cafè for hot chocolate. This is not just any hot chocolate, this is pure melted chocolate in a cup. It's like drinking a chocolate bar.
Yesterday I met with Karin in her place to prepare for the christmas market. We ended up talking in her kitchen for a long time. She told me stories about her job and life in Sweden, why she moved to Italy etc. It was very interesting to hear her story, and I was very happy to hear her say that moving to Italy was the best thing she ever did.
The rain that started sunday is still coming down and it's getting pretty wet. I'm not enjoying my 20 min walks to the trainstation as much as before. Hope it stops soon.
