Today has been a nice day. Finally picked up the package! Woho! Then we went grocery shopping and gor lunch we cooked Pizzoccheri which got its name after the pasta that is used in the dish. You boil the pizzoccheri, potatoes, cabbage and spinach all together in a big pot. When everything is cooked you put it in a oven safe dish and mix with a lot of cheese (parmigiano, casera) and then pour melted butter over before putting it in the oven for about 5-10 min until the cheese has melted. Heavy but amazing!
Pietro had swedish class in the afternoon as usual and then after dinner we went out with some of his friends to a bar in monza that has live music. Last night it was 80s and 90s disco. hehe!
On sunday we (mostly Pietro) cooked polenta and beef. We put cheese that melted inside the polenta... mmm... After lunch we went to Lecco, just to do something else and see another city on Lombardy. It´s a really cute town by the lake and with mountains surronding it. This weekend they had a pretty big street market with mostly food from different regions of Italy but also from Germany, Brazil, USA etc. On the way home we stopped in Arosio where Pietros grandmother and aunt lives. They were all at home so we stopped there for coffee and some talking.
In the evening we saw a really nice movie with Julia Dreyfus (from Seinfeldt) called Enough said. I can recomend it! It´s probably been the most relaxing weekend so far.
The week started well for me with classes as usual in the morning and then lunch and self studies in the afternoon.
