So, I still haven´t got the package but hopefullt tomorrow we can go to another town nearby and pick it up. Enough about that.
Yesterday I went to "Monza-Brianza swedish women book club". We met in Karins place here in Monza so it was very convenient for me this time. They meat about once a month to share new books with each other but mostly to catch up and eat good food. It was really nice to meat with them and hear their stories. Most of them has lived here for 10 years or longer and all but one is married to an italian man. THey all seem to have adapted to the italian life and like it here even if many of them were complaining about Italy and how things work (or doesn´t) work here. I´m happy to have been invited and hope to contine going as long as I live here.
Today instead of having class, out teachers took us to a convent in the outskirts of Milano. One of the student is a nun who lives their and she organized a tour for us. She belongs to the Missonary sisters of the immaculate and the house they live in is called Villa triste. Triste means sad and is refuring to the last years of the WWII when this villa was used as a prison. After the tour we went to the see the grave of Giuseppe Verdi and his wife in Casa di Riposo per Musicisti.
After Sara showed me her apartment in Garibaldi (very central) and we walked around that area for a bit before i took the train back to Monza.
