Evening all ….

Got to be honest and say there didn't seem to be the same buzz about the Park this morning as there was a few days ago. Maybe it was me, maybe the iffy weather this morning. Maybe it was because there was only athletics, basketball and hockey this morning. That could well be it …. it was a lot busier and sunnier this afternoon.

For my stroll this morning, I went to Park Live; a couple of giant screens. And our morning briefing didn't really happen either. There was only Anna, Daisy and me for some reason. Even like that, we may have been overstaffed. It really was exceptionally quiet. Other Games Makers came in during the day and there were more of us idle. On the plus side it gave me more chance to go for walks and rides on the little shuttle bus to the athletes warm-up area. And also to have a kip on the bus. Feeling a bit tired tonight - maybe these early starts are catching up with me. Actually it's not so much the early starts …… I wake up very early normally. No, it's staying awake all day that's the problem. I do think a siesta in the afternoon works wonders don't you? Very thoughtful of them to provide a big bendy-bus for me.

Only four days left and maybe something will change tomorrow. Back again then. But right now, going to post this blog and then hopefully add a couple of videos and pictures. Take care ….
