你好,
So today was our last day in Shanghai. We were checked out by 12 and eating brunch down in the hostel restaurant. We were joined by the 3 Brazilians (Gilles, Philipe and Daniel) and a Dutch guy called Rens. The 6 of us decided to get the metro to the Shanghai Museum in the People's Square (after the guys had finished their brunch).
We headed out but unfortunately we didn't reach the People's Park until after 4, and the place shut at 5, so we decided there was no point going in as it is a large museum and we wouldn't get our money's worth in an hour. So instead we wandered through the People's Park until we came across a small fun fair. The other 5 went on a swinging spinning ride, but I decided to stay on firm ground and look after everybody's possessions, and take some photos.
As we walked towards People's Square it began to rain. We came across a metro station, and as I wasn't feeling great, myself, Lucie and Philipe headed back to the hostel and the other three stayed in the area to find some food.
I am typing this from the train back to Nanchang - we decided to buy hard sea tickets as they were cheaper, but now that we're actually here we'll rethink long journeys on hard seats in the future. Only 10 hours to go…
Until tomorrow,
再见 x
