The second day we drove to Mossman gorge and swam in the water it was freezing but such a beautiful location full of massive boulders. Then stopped at Newell beach for lunch and then headed off to Daintree Village. We had to pay $22 return for the crossing and spent the night in Daintree on a camp site which was quite nice, so quiet and peaceful. We stopped off at Newell beach and had some lunch. Looked at the beach again a lovely beach but couldnt swim. As you might be able to tell am getting a little bored of seeing beaches.But they are rally nice.

The next day we headed over to Mossman Gorge, had to pay $5 to get the bus into the national park. We walked around and found the gorge. Was quite stunning, lots of large boulders coming out of the water.This place is quite a sacred place for the Aboriginals and very beautiful. We took a swim in freezing water and many of the tourist who were mainly aussie's thought we were mad, then when they found out we were from the UK they understood.

Camper van hired, fully insured and off we went the three of us. The camper was named Henry as the sales guy told us, so we stuck with the name. We spent the first day driving up the east coast towards Port Douglas. In between we stopped at a quite a few different beaches. Yorkey k*** was the first destination followed by Palm Cove then onto Ellis beach and then into Port Douglas itself. Paddled in the sea but didn't get to close the sea as there are crocodile...

Another beach we stopped off at and took pictures. There are so many beaches but these were the ones we decided to viist and see. Could have all day working thorugh every beach if you wanted to, as there are so many not far from each other.
