We were woken up by the local dogs barking as usual. It's a sound we're getting used to now. Everyone seems to have a dog living in the garden over here.
Breakfast was something I've never experienced before; layers of polenta and cheese. It was tasty but so rich and hard to get through. Michael managed fine though, it was impressive!
We then returned to the field where we saw the snails and did lots of reed/grass pulling. Whilst we were working we spotted two birds of prey - one was a lesser spotted eagle and the other, a Goshawk.
We stopped for some luke warm fruit tea in a dark and eerie road cafe.
At the end of the day we returned to Select for some very tasty Pork stew and shredded potato. I had a glass of red wine and some of that infamous schnapps! We later visited the local bar to watch some folk bands, they were very entertaining.
