Today we joined a community project to renovate a local playground. The group in charge was Kalaka, founded by an American buzz light year kind of a guy called Chris. He told us some interesting stories about his life and travels whilst we painted the metal fencing surrounding the park. It was an outdoor gym with a variety of exercise machines that we felt we had to try out just to make sure they were ok.

Michael was interviewed for the Romanian news where he talked about the work of the TCV and what Kalaka were trying to achieve that day.

Laszlo kindly took me to find a sim card so I could contact home later that afternoon. Simon dissapeared to pick up a poster of the crazy Hungarian/Irish band they saw earlier in the week.

We walked to the supermarket later on and saw a lizard scuttle into a bush. We investigated the bush for a while, I think the locals must have wondered what we were doing!

In the evening we went to a new and interesting bar decorated with famous artists painted on the wall. On the way back home we saw a poster of the famous model that was to give Simon his massage.
