Today we returned to the butterfly house to finish what we started. It's interesting to note that the decorated trees that are hung up outside certain houses in villages are not old xmas decorations but a romantic gesture. If a beautiful girl at the house has an admirer, he will place a tree outside her house with his name on. Some have several outside, lucky girl!
Today at the butterfly house everybody was clearer about the goal so we got down to some serious shovelling. As if waiting for it's completion a butterfly fluttered around the entrance as Simon was varnishing the wooden exterior. It was a beautiful swallowed tailed butterfly and we spent a while trying to capture it on camera!
Later a delivery of Calcite, bright sparkling rocks were delivered for the rockery. We all carried these by hand into the house. Lunch was a very tasty sausage and potato stew, homemade bread and homemade ewe's cheese.
Later when back at the pension house we were to meet Laszlo's colleagues. He went away and said he would return in 5 minutes. Hearing the voices of men, Stef and I rushed out to meet them and make conversation, later realising they were not Laszlo's colleagues but some players with a white lexus staying next door! Laszlo found this amusing. We did meet Paul in the end who was his colleague and friend.
Soon after there was a very dramatic thunderstorm with gusts of wind and floods of rain which was quite a contrast from the hot sun earlier.
