hey, so...it snowed in grenoble today...alot! i have a feeling that the alps will be full of skiiers and "surfers" this weekend. this morning, madame woke me up extra early so i could eat before i went to class...6am extra early! and i don't have class till 10:30....and then she took an hour to try to find me some snow boots...but....let's just say....ugly, too big, or too bulky. :) then as i was walking out the door, in what we call work boots on the farm, she says, nonnonnon! you have to tuck your jeans into your boots...so, of course i agreed. and then left..and oh, about 2 min. later, i hid behind a car and untucked them. :) she also made me bring an extra pair of shoes and socks in a sack in case the ones i was wearing got wet or damaged..or who knows what. but...i'm pretty sure this adventure so far has just been hilarious! each day is somthing different...and usually amusing. :) i think i'm going to have to buy some shoes, ski clothes, and warmer, thicker, and dressier clothes. i thought i dressed up in the states..but here, i look like a frump! hahah. ok. well, off to class i go. a bientot!
