Ahhhhh Grenoble. and I mean that in so many ways lol. My family is really nice, the mother, Madame Francoise Wyniecki, works for her husband running an engineering company here in Grenoble. The father, Monsieur Pierre Wyniecki, is a Professor here at the Univeristaire Grenoble and has his own engineering company. They have 3 children Alban, Anne and Claire, who are all studying in Paris, 2 cats-both of which love me, and a dog-Batisse-who thinks she is lovable and can jump on everyone There are 3 mountain ranges surrounding Grenoble and if i could name them, I would. Otherwise the city is as flat as a pancake and very easy to get around, if you trust yourself enough to do public transportation. Its definately bigger than DeSoto. The group I'm traveling w/ is amazing, and well, We've all bonded on so many levels. The food here is good, different from home and then not all that different. My host mom cooked stir fry last night--just like mom does at home. I've got my own room, with a sink in it, and the toilet is in a seperate room, and well the shower is across the hall in Claires room. yep its complicated, but makes sense when I'm there. Grenoble otherwise is interesting, I"ve done alot of walking around it, so if you want to know, ask me. Oh and yes, I took the placement test. Lets just say I'm an over-achiever. Well, sorta......at least there's a class for me and the 5 other AIFSers who in so many words are overacheivers. We're trying to look on the bright side. Like this....NO CLASS ON FRIDAYS!!!!
