The plan is taking shape now; after my two week visit to Calafate and Argentinian Patagonia I will fly to Buenos Aires and from there take a bus straight to Mendoza. I have been in contact with a brother and sister who live in Mendoza since November. Anyways they are about to set off on their big adventure through South America and have invited me firstly to their home and then to join them travelling through Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. The offer is too good to pass up and although it means cutting my Argentinian trip a little short the plus will be having locals to travel with and friends of theirs to stay with along the way. In the afternoon I caught up with my hitchiking friend Martin and helped him setup a couchsurfing profile as he is just about to start his big trip aswell. Seems a lot of people in Ushuaia come to work here, save money and then go off on travels. In the evening Jose had finished work early so I made dinner which was a spaghetti bog using chickpeas, lentils and soy mince. We then worked out the plan for the weekend and with a bit if luck tomorrow we will visit the National Park.
