Today I didn't have too much of a plan except to maybe find a hairdresser to fix my terrible haircut up and try and find someone to lend me a sleeping bag. After walking around the city centre for a while and visiting a few hairdressers I decided I would take Jose up on his offer to try fix my hair. I then went and visited my friend Martin (who I hitchhiked to Ushuaia with) at his work, he offered to lend me his sleeping bag and to catch-up tomorrow night after he finished work. The weather wasn't as nice today so I couldn't do the other mountain hike just outside of the city. After lunch I headed back to the city and stumbled across this little organic foods shop and got talking with the owner who turned out to be part Irish. He gave me loads of good info about Ushuaia and some contacts so that I might get a cheap boat ride over to Puerto Williams. I ended up buying some oats, pumpkin seeds, dried mushrooms and Gustavo invited me to try the most incredible Dates from Israel that sell for around $100 a kg- I can't explain how soft, sweet and creamy they were but they were easily the best dates I had ever tried. After a bit more of a walk around the weather cracked up again and started to rain so I headed back to the house. In the evening after Jose had finished work he had agreed to try fix my bad haircut up but unfortunately we got a little lost in translation and now half of my head is shaved to the skin. I am half contemplating shaving it all off as it looks really bad haha but such is life - time for a change.
