So I have spent too much time here in Ushuaia and got far too settled into a routine. Today I had organized to change some US dollars with one of Martins friends; the reason being I would get 40% more then what the bank offers on the blue dollar market. In the evening there was a couchsurfing meeting so I waited around for Jose to finish work and then go with him to the bar. Unfortunately he never arrived at the house so I set off for meeting but had a hell of a lot of trouble finding the place. I ended up running into my mate Martin again and luckily he was able to show me where bar was. The meeting was awsome and in the end about 30 people from all over turned up. The bar put on free pizzas for us and drinks were reasonably priced, there were about 10 locals and 20 visitors and I was able to get some great advice on travels through Argentina. At around 1am the live music started and wow it was impressive for such a small bar. I stayed until about 2am and then decided to walk home; I think I will start going to more of these meetings as not only was it fun but I was able to make some really good contacts here in Argentina and now have new places to visit and stay.
