So I am running out of things to talk about as each day here is becoming less and less eventful. However today I did go and book a flight from El Calafate to Buenos Aires - I had planned to bus this distance and make a few stops along the way but I then found out the bus would take 4 days and triple the price of what I paid for the flight. I also had a bit of luck in the afternoon and managed to find a host in Calafate - a truly impossible task as it is an incredibly touristic and expensive town with very few Couchsurfers. So now the plan is to stay here in Ushuaia until Monday; Monday morning at 5am catch a bus to Calafate arriving at around midnight and then head straight to my hosts B&B where I will spend the first night. I had really hoped we could go camping this weekend but now Jose has a going away BBQ/party he has to go to on Saturday night so instead we will be going to that. However on Saturday we are either going to borrow some bikes or head to the National Park to do some trekking with Jose's school teacher friend Lorena.
