Day 26
Today was Bonnie's first day of work, well it was more orientation, anyway it was just the boys. Likewise, we all slept in. I woke up and was about to get in the showere when dad called me and asked if i felt the earthquake. Apparently there was a 5.6 earthquake at 9:30 50 miles away, according to Bryan it shook the house for at least 20 seconds but I slept through it. Everything is in tact though. Josh and I decided to climb a mountain today so Bryan took us to a local trail called flaptop that we had been told about. We got to the parking lot and it was extremely foggy and kinda rainy but we decide to keep on truckin. The trail was amazing and we took a few shortcut paths that were really hard but cut off a lot of trail. One led to the top of a smaller hill and all we could see was white then a big gust of wind blew by us and pushed some of the clouds out of the way revealing some cool jagged peaks. It was so mysterious and kind of creepy, truly majestic. We got to where the peak was finally in sight and suddenly I almost fell out because of a drop in blood sugar, I felt really weak and my faceprlly turned white... I just sat down and put my head in my hands. Luckily somehow Josh found some kind hikers that gave us some food, quite a life saver I literally would not have been able to make it down the mountain. With my blood sugar raised and the embarrasment out of my system I decided it would prlly be best if we just turned around and didnt finish the hike. At least we got to the top of a smaller mountain close to the one we were aiming for. but I still felt really bad for ending the hike early. Anyway on the way down it cleared up and we got some really good views and pictures of anchorage. Josh and I attenpted to play frisbee in the parking lot while waiting on his parents, but the wind was ridiculous so we went inside of this visitor's center that was being built and threw the frisbee inside there instead, that was funny with all the framework. When the parentals arrived we stopped by both malls, one to get Bryan's phone fixed (I think for the last time) and then the other to get dinner. I had fresh made sushi from a mall food court, made in front of me and it was awesome. That was about it for the day kinda eventful.
Lunch: Hot Dogs on french bread (my own thrown together meal)
Dinner: Philadelphia rolls and a srtawberry smoothie!
