Day 24
Today I jumped out of bed because I slept to long, so Bonnie woke me up and she and I went to the Anchorage market that happens every saturday in the summer. There was a cool assortment of handmade crafts (none nearly as cool as what I saw yesterday) and I got the most amazing breakfast there. We just walked around for a bit and bout some stuff to eat for lunch later. A large assortment of different cultures there which was really neat to see and taste. A girl had a booth there where she played her flute to raise money for medical school (smart idea). Then we went to the local farmers market closer to their house, which was a neat experience because farmers literally just pulled up to a parking lot and sold their stuff next to each other. Stopped by the alaska mac specialists to get a case for my phone. When we got back to the house I watched some more of the Office while waiting for Josh and Bryan to get back from their first pipe band practice, apparently the anchorage pipe band isn't nearly as good as what both of them were used to. After lunch at the house we went over to the AT&T store (I believe that's the sixth day in a row) because all three of them were having problems with their iPhones which is just bizarre to me because I've never had problems like they've had in more than 18 months of having one. Kind of got their phone's fixed and decided to go see Year 1 at the movie theater. They all came out of it saying it was really stupid but I think they were defaulted to do that because of the whole LDS thing (no insult intended)... anyway, I thought it was pretty dang funny and even had a descent story.
Breakfast: Quesadilla with fresh salmon, reindeer sausage, guac, salsa, and moz
Lunch: Russian ball of ground meat and cheese wrapped in fried bread (forgot the name)
Dinner: scallops, boch choi, and rice she didnt use a recipe just kind of threw stuff together.
