Packed up and drove to Gympie where we stumbled across a big Kangaroo (pictured).
Continued on to Rainbow Beach (Beach 4wd Territory) and are camping at Inskip National Park on the beach.
Spoke with a local lady who runs the 4wd hire cars and she gave us some tips on beach driving and cleaning it afterwards. According to her, around 300 vehicles per year are written off when their car gets stuck and the tide comes in.
Saw our first Dingo near our camp site-which surprised us and was exciting!
The alpha female in a dingo pack is the only dingo that has puppies, and its survival of the fittest-usually only two pups survive.
If the mother remains the alpha female for the following year, she will have another litter. Female Dingos will only have one litter per year.
Highlight today: sighting a Dingo for the first time in the wild.
