Gorgeous sunny day, hanging out in the morning sunshine enjoying the warmth!
In the afternoon we wandered around town and drove to the nearby town of 1770 for a coffee. Named by Lieutenant James Cook (later known as Captain Cook) because of the year they landed on shore (May 14th, 1770).
The tide was out and it was strange to see million dollar yachts, fishing dinghy's and long boats stranded in the mud flats.
Later back at camp we cranked up the manual washing machine and did a few loads while chatting with a Russian guy next door (he insisted on carrying our 20ltr water drum for us-no complaints here!).
In the evening we cycled to the bottle shop and indulged in a bottle of Chardonnay then proceeded to have a party in our van.
Highlight today: blasting Kylie Minogues 'Locomotion' from the stereo whilst driving along the beach front!
