so last week christine , Andrew and I stumbled access this little cafe called The Blue Pumpkin.

It is an absolute genius idea where it is a cafe, cake and pastry shop selling all sorts of drinks, teas and coffees but also snacks, pastries, main meals and desserts.

On the first or ground floor is a conventional cafe with chairs and tables

Up the stairs to the middle floor, there is a small area with low tables and bean bags (need to get some pics of this).

To the second and too floor to the edges of the cafe there is a large L shaped sofa with the remainder of tbe floor space being normal chairs and tables.

The sofa is soft yet hard at the same time giving you the support to sit and not sink and behind you are a number of soft pillows giving comfort and support at the same time. The base of the sofa is a wipe clean material (which is good as the sofas are white) but it doesnt feel cheap or wipe clean at all. You dont stick to it... leather sofas - take note! The sofas are wide enough to sit with your legs out and the wait era come round and give you a tray on legs so you can comfortably eat and drink.

The concept of the cafe is that it is an internet cafe so it is filled with people on their laptops and phones whilat enjoying a tasty snack.

I love this place  and if I had the pennies would definitely bring it to the UK!

I love that you can also be sat having a trradditional Coconut drink (A coconut with a hole and a straw) yet be sat in the most modern internet cafe in town.

A little but of old mixed with new.

Today, we have still got a flooded office and I still have no laptop (my work laptop too overheated and the hard drive malfunctioned) so it has been a long boring couple of days doing not much!

So today, after 3 hours of waiting for my computer (8am till 11am) I decided that I would take an early lunch

I treated myself to a bit of The Blue Pumpkin and had a pepperoni pizza and Iced Chocolate followed by some fruit and an earl grey tea. A little extravagent i know but My goodness it was amazing! My first pizza since I left UK and first bit of meat (I have been vegetarian here).

Iced chocolate is my new favourite drink!

The fruit also have me a chance to try Dragon fruit. I have wanted to try it but not wanted to buy a whole fruit and then not like it (as I did with longans).

Its a white (the inside) fruit (or pink in some cases I think) with tiny black pips (they just add a bit of texture) I can quite describe the fastbut they are really good!
