Back in windy Wellington for a night on our back up north to fly to Australia, oddly enough sharing a dorm with a guy from Andover!

Cooked up some dinner (ollie said it was the best meal he had ever had im the north island this week) and went out for a wonder.

As I lay in my bottom bunk I notice an inscription on one of the wooden slats above me (see pic)......could I be laying in the bed once occupied by the sister of the duchess of Cambridge?....if Pippa middleton has ever visited Wellington I'm pretty sure she didn't stay in a 6 bed dorm in the YHA....I'm also pretty sure she's not the kind of girl who would graffiti. Wrote my name and date on the same wooden slat for good measure.

Early start tomorrow when we make our way to taupo....fingers crossed for some decent weather so that we can go for a swim in the lake.
