Well.....our flight left from Auckland at 7am, check in opened at 4ish so we decided booking hostel would be a waste of money so spent the night at the airport, found a nice little spot in the viewing gallery and probably got about 25 minutes sleep between us.

While we were in queenstown we started looking for accommodation in Melbourne and came across an advert online, a lady advertising free accommodation in exchange for painting, we contacted her and had a chat via skype and arranged to stay at her apartment while she was away.

We arrived in Melbourne Saturday morning and arrived at our base for the next week around lunchtime. Our task was to paint the doors and skirting. We started sanding straight away and planned to get all the work done in the first couple of days before going out exploring.
