Today we went to the Australian grand prix in Albert park.....beautiful weather and got to see Jenson button win!

We were stood at turn ten and actually had quite good views although to be honest they go pretty quick so you only get a glimpse each time but it was really exciting!

There was also a sidetrack music festival going on so we went to that after and saw grand master flash, for anyone who isn't sure who this is he is an ageing DJ who claims to have invented the art of "scratching". He was really good, however, at the beginning of his set we were warned of the three rules of "a grand master flash party"...
1. If you know the words.....sing along
2. If I tell you to put your hands in the air....you put your (swearing) hards in the air
3. If I tell you to dance....you dance

And first this seemed pretty normal and a relatively reasonable request, however he was pretty militant about it and actually stop the record several times to reiterate the "rules" to us again. Needless to say at the end of his 60 minute set everyones arms were tired and vocal chords bleeding.

The headliner was FLO RIDA I actually didn't quite realise how many songs of his I knew but he was a pretty good entertainer. We were at the front throughout the evening which meant we had to dodge the sweaty towels he was throwing into the crowd at regular intervals.....some girls were screaming and diving over eachother to get them, I thought the while thing was pretty disgusting and probably would have thrown it back if it had come towards me.
