Visited a Mauri Village this evening....it was awesome, was basically a living museum where we got to walk round and listen to talks on different aspects of Mauri life, it was so interesting. First day in Auckland went of to do a but of exploring....weather amazing! Ollies already been here a few days so has worked out the way round and stuff so that was pretty handy! Saw a man deliberately smash the screen of his own phone today. That was pretty weird. Checked out if the hotel to move to a hostel in the city centre, it was raining so we enjoyed a walk to the bus stop with all our earthly belongings! I have at last arrived in new Zealand! After my rant about what I'm like on a plane, I was basically sat next to me! An Australian boy who was about 17 told me of his fear of flying the second I sat down, I told him I was too and tried to be supportive...."it's totally irrational...", "your safer in the air than on the ground..." and such.
