I have at last arrived in new Zealand! After my rant about what I'm like on a plane, I was basically sat next to me!

An Australian boy who was about 17 told me of his fear of flying the second I sat down, I told him I was too and tried to be supportive...."it's totally irrational...", "your safer in the air than on the ground..." and such.

He was saying things like "if we did crash though...." I actually had to suggest we talked about something other than planes during take off!

Flight was 13hrs but I managed to sleep a fair bit and there wad no turbulence so it was actually fine.

Customs was pretty thorough, you have to declare if you have any dirty shoes in your case.....bit like going in someones house when they have new carpet really.

Was amazing to see Ollie at arrivals! Pretty nice bunch of flowers too....back to the hotel.
