Whew! What an intense couple of weeks and nice to be back in Santiago relaxing.

Spent Christmas Eve with a group of "Santiago Orphans" which included a yummy asado (BBQ) and drinks, followed by some drunken dancin`All good fun! then spent Christmas night with Helena and her Chilean family. We ate the first course of Xmas dinner at like, 11pm and then everyone left the table! God, I was thinking.. was that it? crap, I should have definetly eaten more ham!! Then, a good 2 hours later it was time for the main course thankfully. We ate, drank, and were merry.

Spent New Years in Valpo with another group of friends. Night was typically dis-jointed as New Years`tend to be, but the fireworks were amazing. So all was good, except for paying 6000 pesos to get into a bar to go to the toilet and then realising it was a gay bar. That came with a free drink but in typical Hilary fashion I went to put it on a table and missed, so was then sans drink. So me and my `girlfriend`danced on the stage and had a pretty fun time. Just like that time I went to Bojangles at Wellys.

So I`m thinking 2010 must be a good year for me.. better than 2008 and 2009.. no life-changing events this year please God!!

Next time I write I will be in Buenos Aires... xx
