So.. Friday was an interesting day. I got a phone call from another English Institute and when I went in to see them after working in the morning, they offered me a job there. Now I have talk to my other work and somehow get the best deal for myself. Needless to say I was pretty happy as the money at this new place is a lot better. And I will also get an open work visa, which doesn´t tie me to the school, but lets me work anywhere if I want, so its a way better deal all round, so come Monday I´ll need to do some negotiating!

Then on Friday night I went with Caro and Hanz (the lovely people I live with) and another friend of theirs, Claudia to an Argentine Salsa band. It was crazy, and I felt really out of place! But it was great, not a gringa (exept me of course) in sight. I danced a little, drank a lot and had a pretty awesome time. The concert was in Barrio Brasil a pretty dodgy little area, but packed with partiers at night. Luckily, we got into the concert for free, another plus for last night as Hanz works in some sort of music production. (not really sure exactly what as my Spanish expertise is not quite that good - yet). A minus for last night, was before we went out a spilt an entire glass of wine over my laptop. I´m surprised this hasn´t happened before due to my reputation as a spiller, so many of you won´t be surprised.... anyhoo its kaput. For how long I´m not sure.. but if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know!

So today has been pretty slow, as I´m absolutely knackered from late night last night and also having the early morning shift at the English school. Tonight Chile is playing football against Ecuador and Vivi - one of the teachers is having people over to watch the game there. So that might be an interesting experience....but bed is looking pretty good right now....
