So yesterday evening and this morning I had a glimpse of what it would be like to have internet at home...and then it stopped working. Of course, just my luck. As I have new neighbors who will move into this house either when I leave or I will swop with them soon (since I am alone I don't need a big house) they are taking care of internet so I really hope it will be fixed. The husband is working from home so I can imagine he will fight for internet.
Today we have a hen party at the lodge; they are staying in the big Riverhouse. I think they will have a great time considering all the alcohol I put in the bar this morning haha. David told me to put a bucket, a broom and some towels in the kitchen"you never know Hanna….". Good thinking I say.
The mosquitoes are insane at the moment, I have bites everywhere. The ones on my feet are just horrible; they make my feet look super ugly. Not something I am going to miss when I leave. I will probably have scars for a long time since I get so frustrated after a while that I scratch them till they bleed. Extreme satisfaction.
The weather is really cold today; I don't know what happened to Africa. I think Africa swopped weather with Europe because I keep seeing big suns on the weather forecast for Europe.
I went to cultural heritage when I was off on Wednesday and the tanzanite they sell there are just soo pretty. I really want to buy one but they are freaking expensive. They had pink ones "they are the most rare ones" OF COURSE THEY ARE they are the pretties ones too haha. Only 2400 dollars. Yaay " Like found" to try and translate a Swedish saying my dad always use;).
As much as I appreciate being able to have Happy here to help with laundry and cleaning, she always finds the best times to do the dishes or clean the bathroom: when I am on skype in the kitchen or when I need to have a shower. I wish I knew more Swahili so I could tell her but as I don't, I just have to deal with it.
Alright I better start doing something useful.
