Wednesday 6th of June.
I started my day with the Swedish national song (obviously as it's the Swedish national day) and then I went to have a peak at what Jade bought from town. Delicious yoghurts, nuts, dried fruits, bread and cheese ( "annah I bought a cheese, I hope it is bonne").
After my breakfast I went to the office and Kimberly gave me some tasks to start with such as changing the display in the gift shop and finding new ways to use the face book page. For lunch, Kimberly and David has told the chef to make "European dish" as well as the staff lunch so Kimberly and I had schnitzel with mushroom sauce, potatoes and grilled vegetables. I guess my plan of not being able to eat the food = get skinny will have to wait until later;)
Oh, before I forget, here is a brief explanation of what I did yesterday: we started packing the truck and then drive to the fairgrounds which are in Arusha, close to the Arusha airport. At the fairgrounds we had to start "swording" the lawn ahha. I didn't have to do it, thank god! It looked SO HARD. After that we hing the curtains and build brick walls. At lunchtime I was so hungry I didn't even care that my hands were disgusting-I ate with my hands anyways. Chicken and bread has never tasted that good before.
I had put sunlotion on my face as we were outside ( its winter here so not super warm) and by the end of the day I looked really tanned so I told David that oh yaaay Im tanned! But he looked at me and smiled and said…hanna…its dirt. Hahaha I was SO dirty I even had mud in my face and inside my shoes.
On the way back to the hotel we stopped for a cold beer ( I love that David is German) at a "pub" by the airport and there was a DJ and people were dancing and laughing. So funny, it was 6pm and they were almost clubbing.
After I had showered we had dinner at Kimberly and Davids house. We ordered pizza from the restaurant and delicious chicken paté.
Now im going to order food. Kwaheri!
