Well today has been pretty crazy!! I've hardly been at the rehab itself. I did morning rounds as usual, then after breakfast went horse riding. We did the beginner class as one person had never ridden before, but it was still fun to ride through the mountains, we rode past impala, warthogs and baboons. My horse was an ex racehorse called Edge, he was beautiful.
Then we got back and just as we arrived everyone else was about to leave to go to town to drop off some other volunteers Kelly, Nancy, Tacy and Hannah. So we jumped in the combi and went along. So we went to the airport to drop Nancy and Kelly off, then we ended up running so many little errands, including an hour round trip to take a staff member to the private game reserve, Nhoveni. Ended up not getting back to the rehab until 6pm!! Good day though.
Oh and I learned a nursery rhyme in africaans. Essential part of the language of course!!!
