It was a slow morning today. I stayed around the hotel and caught up on a few things (blogs and pictures for one). In the afternoon, we went to lunch while Kayla and Victoria waited for their laundry to finish. I split up from the group because I still had some studying to do, but I stopped at the ATM on my way back and then got a tiramisu gelato.
I had Italian at 4:30 again and we went over the test from yesterday. I got a B- because of the curve, but I definitely have some studying to do for the next one. In art history, we went over the works we have looked at so far in class and he gave us a list of some of the more important artists to study for the test.
After dinner, everyone headed back to their rooms to pack for Florence and Venice tomorrow. I was pretty much packed from the day before, so it didn't take me long to get everything together and bring my big suitcase to the room where it will be stored for the five days we are gone.
The senate gave out copies of the Italian Constitution yesterday, so I started to read the beginning of it as I uploaded some pictures. It is interesting to see the contrasts between their constitution and the US constitution. Because it was written in 1947, the language is much more modern and easier to understand. It is also clear that the two countries have very different histories.
