Cape Le Grand claims the most beautiful beaches in Australia and whilst I would agree they are gorgeous and white, the water is extremely cold (this is the southern ocean) and for many months there is a lot of seaweed on them. This one, Lucky Bay - you can see the kangaroos eating some of the seaweed. We did however have a wonderful time here. We did some lovely walks (again seeing some lovely wildflowers) and climbed a rather steep hill called Frenchman's Peak which had great views. As with the rest of western Australia the wind here was very strong and rather cold - there is a photo of Rich rugged up to read at night - he looks a sight!
